Danish audio brand Bang & Olufsen today announced its Beoplay EQ earbuds which marks the first active noise cancelation earbuds in the maker’s lineup, to adjust noise cancelling automatically to your surroundings. Besides offering comfort and durability, they ensure first-class call clarity thanks to beamforming technology.
To achieve the maximum noise-cancelling effect, Bang & Olufsen says it developed an adaptive ANC that combines excellent passive sealing. That one-two combination effectively blocks outside noise. The buds pack an anodized aluminum casing and feature the signature B&O sound tuning. Pairing is done over Bluetooth 5.2 and battery life is rated at 6.5-hours on the buds with ANC on and 20 hours with the charging case.
Thanks to Bang & Olufsen’s fast charge feature, the earphones can be quickly charged for 20 minutes. With Bluetooth 5.2 wireless range is approximately 33 feet, and support for both Apple’s lossy AAC codec and Qualcomm’s aptX Adaptive codec.
