Gem Dior, the luxury House’s largest ever High Jewelry collection, celebrates 20 years of Dior Joaillerie. 99 high jewellery pieces are conceived as a chromatic story of stones and colors. 38 jewelry sets were shown on models dressed in exclusive gowns created by Maria Grazia Chiuri during a magical dinner held at the Palazzo Labia in Venice on June 11th.
This celebration honoring a love of art and harmony was further enhanced by the beauty of painter Giambattista Tiepolo’s frescoes. The most expensive piece in the collection is a diamond necklace showcasing a 10.62-carat pink sapphire in the middle, worth 1.9million euros.
The architectural jewels created by Victoire de Castellane, Creative director of Dior Fine Jewelry. The collection’s Gem Dior name is a play on words, because “J’aime,” the French for “I love,” sounds phonetically similar to English word “Gem.” To find out more about Gem Dior, visit www.dior.com.
