The 110m superyacht concept named Stella Del Sud, that embodies the sophistication of the Italian style and pays tribute to a famous Cartier diamond was revealed by Italian design studio Gabriele Teruzzi Yachts & Design. Gabriele Teruzzi is known for coming up with some of the most disruptive creations, and this new superyacht concept does not stray from the norm.
The concept, inspired by the structure and light patterns created by diamonds, the distinctive concept borrows its name from the famous 128-carat Cartier diamond, “Star of the South”. The exterior was made with the help of Andrea Agrusta from NavalHEAD who contributed technical engineering. The concept features the Art-Deco style with the double-height main saloon, which is inspired by a modern penthouse.
The yacht offers plenty of space for alfresco living, with a long open beach club that spans 300 square metres and measures an impressive 23 metres long. A split-level design allows for three integrated swimming pools connected by a waterfall. The owner’s suite is located on the bridge deck and has a hot tub, a spa table and salt walt. Eight VIP suites with integrated terraces and a piano lounge located on the main deck.
A helipad with a private lounge situated at the foredeck. Another notable feature – a 330 sq. m sun deck divided into two different ares, one of which features an infinity hot tub, while the other one has a dining alfresco table. The impressive cinema lounge is located on Stella Del Sud’s bilge deck.
Gabriele Teruzzi, of the eponymous design studio, describes the interior styling as “engaging, distinctive [with] organic shapes”. “The spaces have been arranged to remain suitable for a glamorous party or to relax with a drink. The interior also features innovative solutions, such as the double-height main saloon, overlooking the sea,” Teruzzi continued.
