JetBlue Opens Its First Airport Lounge

A new hotspot just opened in New York and it’s in terminal 5 of John F. Kennedy International Airport. BlueHouse, a 9,000 square foot space exclusively available to select JetBlue Airways customers, welcomed its first guests at 5 a.m. this morning as the airline’s first foray into the pitched battle for lucrative premium fliers.

BlueHouse provides complimentary access to Mosaic 4 members, JetBlue Premier Cardmembers, and transatlantic Mint customers, provided they have a confirmed same-day boarding pass for a Blue Fare or above ticket. Customers traveling on Blue Basic fares are not eligible for complimentary access.

“BlueHouse helps make our flagship terminal feel more like home,” said Marty St. George, president of JetBlue, in a press release statement.

The lounge includes amenities such as high-speed Wi-Fi, power outlets, a game room, open seating, and quiet areas designed for travelers looking to socialize, work, or relax before their flights. BlueHouse will operate daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. ET. The airline plans to offer annual and one-time passes for eligible customers starting next year.

JetBlue also announced plans to open a second BlueHouse location at Boston Logan International Airport Terminal C in 2026, which the airline described as part of its ongoing investment in the focus city and premium offerings.
