Richard Mille has introduced the RM 11-04 Automatic Flyback Chronograph Roberto Mancini watch developed in collaboration with the current manager of Italy’s national football team.
The new model reprises the RM 11-01 Roberto Mancini that was released in 2013 brought an answer to a problem that comes up during soccer matches – the need to know how much time is left at all times. The watch’s dial indicated playing time based on 45-minute halftimes and up to 15 minutes of overtime. In addition to displaying hours, minutes, seconds, an oversize date and month, the skeletonized automatic movement at the heart of the RM 11-04, calibre RMAC3, features a flyback chronograph with central minutes counter and variable-geometry rotor, and an annual calendar to boot.
The RM 11-04 incorporates Richard Mille’s latest style codes, as seen in the new lines of the crown, its variable-geometry rotor and its ultra-sporty new case in virtually indestructible Carbon TPT. Case dimensions are Measuring 49.94 mm x 44.50 mm x 16.15 mm, the case is water-resistant to 50 metres / 165 feet, thanks to two Nitrile O-ring seals. The blue on the rehaut, the crown and the rubber bracelet reflects the blue of the Squadra Azzurra’s jerseys.
The caliber RMAC3, replacing the RMAC1, offers a power reserve of circa 55 hours (± 10%) or 45 hours when the chronograph is running. This skeletonized automatic winding movement drives the hour, minute and second hands. It also orchestrates the display of an oversize date and the months. Its flyback chronograph helps in tracking short times and match halftimes with a central minute counter. The model’s baseplate and bridges are all made of grade 5 titanium, a Richard Mille signature.
Completed by a rubber bracelet with a titanium folding buckle. The RM 11-04 Automatic Flyback Chronograph Roberto Mancini retails for $189,500 and is available exclusively at Richard Mille boutiques worldwide. richardmille.com, Discover Opulent Club on Apple News.
