Aston Martin has announced a pair of new special edition Aston Martin Vantage and DBS Superleggera supercars ahead of the release of the new movie “No Time To Die” is the 25th in the long-running franchise and will star four Aston Martins, including the yet-to-be-launched Valhalla.
007 Editions of the Aston Martin Vantage & DBS Superleggera have been designed and crafted by Aston Martin’s bespoke division: Q by Aston Martin.
We’ll start with the Vantage 007 Edition, which is inspired by the Aston Martin V8 from 1987’s “The Living Daylights.” It has a bespoke mesh grille surrounded by a chrome bezel to reference the look of Aston’s classic V8 Bond car. The car is offered in authentic Cumberland Grey exterior paint color, and its interior will be presented in obsidian black leather and dark chrome. There’s also a laser-etched gadget plaque that references the various weapons and devices seen on the original movie car.
And those cello-style “f” logo on the seats a nod to the movie’s famous cello chase scene and ‘96.60’ embroidered on the sun visors. The latter is a reference to the Russian police frequency used by the special agent in the escape scene in the 1987 movie.
Aston Martin DBS Superleggera is a second unique 007 Edition. Limited to just 25 cars, the DBS Superleggera 007 Edition has the same specs as the one featured in the upcoming movie. Highlighted by a black carbon fiber roof, mirror caps, splitter, diffuser and rear Aeroblade. Bond-specific emblems join unique 21-inch wheels and an interior finished in black leather with red accents. There are also “007” logos on the fender badges and rear spoiler. More “007” logos can also be found inside, together with dark leather trim accented with red detailing on the outline of the seats.
The Vantage 007 Edition is limited to 100 cars and starts at £161,000 ($210,663) in the United Kingdom. The DBS Superleggera 007 Edition with a recommended retail price from £279,025 ($365,094).
