Jaeger-LeCoultre expands its Master Ultra Thin Moon collection with reference Q1242521, a 36 mm interpretation of the dress watch in polished 18-carat pink gold. Its more compact proportions recall the balanced lines of classic round watches from the 1950s, while the moon-phase and date display preserve the model’s signature character.

The Master Ultra Thin collection draws on Jaeger-LeCoultre’s longstanding command of slim watchmaking, a discipline the Manufacture has pursued since the early 20th century. Each piece pairs restrained design with movements developed, made, and assembled at the Maison’s Manufacture-Atelier in Switzerland’s Vallée de Joux.

At 9.3 mm thick, the pink gold case has a gently rounded profile, curved lugs, and a polished bezel. Gold-tone applied markers and faceted Dauphine hands carry the warm case colour across the dial. Each hand is finished with one satin-brushed surface and one polished surface, creating subtle shifts in the light. A sunray-brushed silver dial provides a cool contrast. At 6 o’clock, the date scale frames a moon-phase display, where a moon appears against a deep blue, star-speckled sky. The arrangement gives the complication prominence while keeping the time display composed and easy to read.

Inside, Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 925 powers the watch. Developed and produced in-house, the 4 Hz automatic movement has been refined over time for dependable performance and precision. Its latest version offers a 70-hour power reserve nearly three days when fully wound. A sapphire crystal case back reveals the movement’s Côtes de Genève decoration, bevelled bridges, and blued screws. An open-worked rotor in 22-carat pink gold adds a final detail. The watch is completed by a black alligator strap with an interchangeable 18-carat pink gold pin buckle and is water-resistant to 5 bar, or 50 metres.

The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Moon in pink gold, reference Q1242521, is priced at €24,300 including VAT or US$23,200 before sales tax. For further details, visit jaeger-lecoultre.com.
