Net-A-Porter and Balmain have linked up for an exclusive high summer capsule collection. With coastal getaways and jet-setting vacations in mind, the forthcoming program is heavily inspired by the glamor of Cannes, St. Tropez and the French Côte d’Azur.
“The collection makes the perfect summer capsule wardrobe, covering everything from your off duty look to full-on evening glamour. Their iconic jacket in white with gold detailing is my personal favorite”, said Elizabeth von der Goltz, global buying director at Net-a-Porter, in a statement.
The unmistakable Balmain signature touches come with sequins on one-shouldered dresses, camisole tops and full-length dresses “with show-stopping side slits [to] ensure easy opulence.” And while much of that sounds very evening-oriented, high-cut body suits, white shorts and shirts also act as “daytime essentials.” It also offers up Breton stripes and crisp navy blazers in white crepe with gold details.
