St Regis Hotels & Resorts Opens First Hong Kong Property

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts announced the highly anticipated opening of The St. Regis Hong Kong, marking the debut of the iconic luxury brand in the destination.  The St. Regis Hong Kong nestled in the heart of Wan Chai, a dynamic hub with both commercial and cultural aspects. The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center and Golden Bauhinia Square are within easy reach of the city’s latest luxury hotel.

Designed by acclaimed Hong Kong designer Andre Fu, whose design work includes The Upper House, the 27-story St Regis Hong Kong offers 129 luxury rooms and suites, complete with deep-soak freestanding bathtubs and king-size beds.

“Hong Kong has long been considered the point of convergence for East and West, and we are thrilled to open the first St. Regis property in this exciting destination,” said Lisa Holladay, Global Brand Leader for St. Regis Hotels & Resorts. “The hotel’s incredible architecture and design beautifully capture the energy of Hong Kong all through the lens of St. Regis’ signature glamorous spirit and sophistication.”

Careful and thoughtful attention is paid to their every detail through the brand’s signature Butler Service, but with a luxurious twist: the boutique nature of this hotel means that the personalised, round-the-clock Butler Service will be one-to-one, and all check-ins will be done in-room. Other services offered by the Butler include packing/unpacking, clothes pressing, drinks service, making social arrangements and bookings, and an eButler contact on the Marriot Mobile App, email, Whatsapp and WeChat.

The St. Regis Hong Kong will introduce an exceptional dining experience with award-winning chef Olivier Elzer invites guests to indulge in French haute cuisine in L’Envol. Rùn, the signature Cantonese restaurant is led by renowned chef Hung Chi-Kwong, winner of the Silver Award in the 2012 Best of the Best Culinary Awards. Famous for developing his own unique mastery and contemporary interpretations of the rich gastronomy of Cantonese cuisine, Chef Kwong treats guests to delicate and innovative seasonal dishes.

The hotel facilities include an Athletic Centre, which boasts a comprehensive selection of free-weights, cardio machines and yoga/stretching equipment, and a heated outdoor pool. The hotel currently has one spa treatment room and offers therapies with the award-winning 001 London ‘Yin & Yang’ Skincare range, but will be extending its spa offerings over the coming year.

The St. Regis Hong Kong is a home to almost 12,000 sq. ft. of event space spread across five venues. The sophisticated Astor Ballroom, which spans 5,576 square feet with a cathedral high ceiling design, is perfectly suited for grand-scale events, while the Rockefeller Room is perfect for corporate meetings.  The St. Regis Hong Kong also boasts an outdoor verandah, heated swimming pool and poolside bar as well as a health club with a spa treatment room among other luxurious amenities.
