Dior’s anticipated luxury luggage specialists Rimowa collaboration had landed at Harrods, London, complete with a Dior Oblique logo-upholstered helicopter.
Running until February 2, the pop-up is just the latest chapter in the relationship between the Parisian house and the iconic London department store. The new space mirrors the concept first unveiled in Dior’s Champs-Élysées boutique in Paris: It comes complete with a real aluminum gray helicopter featuring seats that are upholstered in the recognizable Dior Oblique canvas, while in the background, walls are printed with clouds and blue skies, a symbol for “new horizons.”
By blending Dior’s contemporary and simplistic approach with the esteemed sophistication of Rimowa’s identity, a collection of truly covetable, exquisite and practical pieces has been created,’ says Simon Longland, head of menswear at Harrods. With these travel pieces, you’ll be the envy of any departure lounge.
