Luxury brand company Caviar, has announced that it will be selling a custom edition of Apple’s AirPod Max over-ear headphones adorned in pure gold. Available in two colors black and white Caviar’s.
Airpods Max will be made of 750 grams of 18 carat yellow gold, black or white crocodile leather for the high price of $108,000. Caviar said that the luxury headphones will be “released in a single piece worldwide,” indicating that supplies will be limited.
The Caviar logo is incorporated in the middle of the ear cups. Even the digital crown and button is made out of Gold. The headphones weigh about 830 grams. Caviar will also provide a custom made smart case with the headphones. Released earlier this month, AirPods Max combine a custom acoustic design, H1 chips, and advanced software to power computational audio for a breakthrough listening experience with Adaptive EQ, Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency mode, and spatial audio.
