The Distil Your World Mexico Single Cask Limited Edition is a truly unique release, crafted to embody the vibrant essence of Mexico and its most iconic celebration, the Day of the Dead. This rare whisky will be offered exclusively through Sotheby’s in a special charity auction, with all proceeds supporting Esperanza International, an organization dedicated to home building and community development in Mexico.
Bidding for the Distil Your World Mexico Single Cask Limited Edition opens on March 5 and runs until March 21, with an estimated lot value between $30,000 and $80,000. This extraordinary whisky is presented in a striking orange box, featuring a marigold-inspired interior design that pays homage to the Day of the Dead. The exclusive lot also includes a bespoke artwork by illustrator Alfredo Rios, renowned for his depictions of nature and Mexican folklore.
Crafted in collaboration with the renowned Roca brothers of the three-Michelin-starred El Celler de Can Roca, this exceptional spirit radiates a 100% natural marigold hue. Bottled at 54.9% ABV, it offers rich notes of dulce de leche and cinnamon-dusted churros, perfectly balanced by hints of vanilla pod and charred pineapple.
