Italian architects Borzelli and Berta have introduced a new 90-metre concept Project Legato in collaboration with German yard Nobiskrug. The design is based on the yard’s existing 90 metre hull line and “perfectly fits the platform,” according to Borzelli & Berta.
The name of the project is rooted in Italian word ‘legato’ meaning musical notes harmoniously tied together without much effort. With a balcony located in each of the six cabins, the outdoors blends effortlessly with the interior.
Built from a steel hull and superstructure, Legato can be equipped with either conventional or diesel-electric engines.
Project Legato will feature three swimming pools, comprising of a 5.7 metre pool on the owner’s deck and two pools of 5.7 metres and 8.9 metres on the main deck – one fore and one aft. This part of the design has been “inspired by the ancient Roman baths”, the designer said. This allows the natural light inside, to fill the interior.
In addition to having its own pool, the owner’s deck is fully independent of the rest of the vessel, meaning that arrival by helicopter is possible with private access. The master suite also features a Jacuzzi with retracting glass panels, emphasizing the continuity between the yacht’s exteriors and interiors. Discover Opulent Club on Apple News.
