Mercedes and Cigarette Racing have teamed up to create an all-new boat that draws inspiration from the Project One, which will make its world debut at the Miami Boat Show on 15 February. The Cigarette Racing 515 Project One is a high-performance speed boat that features a two-tone livery and plenty of AMG badging.
So far only a tease image of the Cigarette Racing 515 Project ONE boat has been released. How the powerful 1,000 hp powertrain featuring the 1.6-litre V6 engine derived from the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 race car will be utilised the new boat is yet to be known.
The 515 Project One will become the latest in a long line of AMG-inspired models created by Cigarette Racing. In 2014, the company introduced the Vision GT Concept which drew inspiration from the AMG Vision Gran Turismo concept car. Two years later, they unveiled the 41′ SD GT3 which was influenced by the AMG GT3 race car. Last year, the AMG GT R helped spawn the inspiration for the carbon fiber intensive Marauder AMG.
