Rosetti Superyachts Reveals 48 Metre Concept With Designer Tomasso Spadolini

Rosetti Superyachts (RSY) presented latest design to spring from its collaboration with designer Tomasso Spadolini. The Rossetti 48M Supply Vessel is a more compact version of the 85 metre concept revealed by the yard back in November 2017.

“Incorporating the philosophy of our 85-metre Supply Vessel into a 48-metre yacht of less than 500GT was quite a challenge,” says Fulvio Dodich, RSY partner and chairman. “It meant optimising the interior and exterior layout to ensure efficient use of space while maintaining independent circulation flows for guests and crew. At the same time, we were able to offer custom options to suit the lifestyles of different owners and enhance the yacht’s flexibility.”

Spadolini’s exterior design offers a balance between a sense of rugged seaworthiness and family appeal, all while staying under the 500GT threshold. Large tenders and touch-and-go helicopter operations are possible thanks to an open aft deck of almost 18-metres, although RSY state that a number of options are also available, including using this space as an open-air beach club with infinity pool. Accommodation is for up to ten guests split across five cabins, including a master suite that can be situated on the main deck or the upper deck.

Performance wise, the RSY 48m will be powered by either twin-screw diesel propulsion system MTU or twin CAT C32 engines, providing a top speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots.
