Wider 165 Project Cecilia Launches Its Largest Yacht Yet

Italian yard Wider Yachts has launched its flagship Wider 165 motor yacht Project Cecilia in the presence of shipyard staff and project collaborators in Ancona, Italy. As the shipyard’s second project to date following the success of the 47-metre Wider 150 (now named Bartali) that was launched in November 2015, Cecilia too is based on an advanced hybrid diesel/electric propulsion system that has its origins from the commercial sector.

The all-aluminium Wider 165 features interior and exterior design by Fulvio De Simoni as well as design input from the Wider team of designers and engineers. Some of the highlights on board include a helicopter landing pad on the foredeck, private gym with a terrace and the full-beam Wider beach club which the brand is known for. There are also five cabins for the 11 crew, and a cabin near the wheelhouse for the captain.

Key features include a touch-and-go helipad and a submersible tender garage, which can be converted into a beach club, complete with indoor swimming pool. Scheduled for delivery this summer, Cecilia is currently for sale at €30,000,000.
