Moët & Chandon recently unveiled its limited-edition champagne collection. The collection is called Greatness Since 1998 and it celebrates the Swiss sports legend’s 20 years playing tennis as a pro. The “GREATNESS SINCE 1998” collection is comprised of Grand Vintage magnum bottles that have been designed and bound in a premium leather racket grip, signed and numbered by the man himself.
Underneath the wrapping, the bottle’s label bears the athlete’s signature while the inside of the bottle’s tie features his message, “Dreams do come true.” Priced at $24,000 USD each, only 20 bottles will be available worldwide with all profits going to support the Roger Federer Foundation — an education-based initiative serving regions of South Africa and Switzerland.
Stark in its presentation with gritty exterior texture, the 1.5-liter bottle holds what is commonly considered one of the finest vintages Moët has produced over the past quarter century. Crisp, elegantly dry, with sustained berry notes in a lengthy finish, it is the apotheosis of its house’s trademark style.
This Champagne is sold by special order only and can only be purchased in Europe. To know more you can send an email to rogerfederer20@moet.com. More details are available at the brand’s new website: Clos19.
