UK yacht designer Malcolm McKeon Yacht Design has showcased a new 72.5-metre (238-foot) MM725 sailing superyacht concept. The yacht looks very elegant but also very sporty with the reverse bow and the low profile. One of the key features is a lounge area under the flybridge with fold out bulkwards which creates extended balconies and an open arrangement.
Floor-to-ceiling glass windows in the hull also ensure that the Owner’s suite is connected with the natural environment, receiving panoramic views of cityscapes and verdant islands. Among other unique innovations is her sail handling, which stores the downwind sails on a self-towing reel below deck, and a lifting keel and square top mainsail to maximise cruising performance.
The 72.5m/237.8ft length is impressive alone as a feat of engineering, added to which is her clever concealment of a flybridge deck within the sleek modern lines. Discover Opulent Club on Apple News.
