After years of development and months of construction, the first BeachClub Motoryacht by Van Der Valk has launched the first model in its BeachClub 600 range. The semi-custom 19.05-metre yacht will now undergo sea trials before appearing at several “major” boat shows this summer.
A second model in the range, the 20.5 metre BeachClub 660 Flybridge, is also under construction, and on track for delivery this summer.
The BeachClub 600 offers spacious leisure zones both inside and outside. This was made possible thanks to the idea of placing an engine room within the swimming platform area. This innovative solution was developed in partnership with two stars of the Dutch yachting world, Ginton Naval Architects and designer Cor D. Rover.
As a result, the yachts boast three exterior spaces, the beach deck with sunlounge, aft deck and foredeck. Ample space is retained for indoor luxury. Both yachts are available in four interior styles created by Cor D Rover called Ibiza, Sardegna, Mallorca and Corse. Alternatively, clients can create an interior of their own choosing.
The BeachClub 600 features twin Volvo Penta IPS-950 engines, giving a top speed of 25 knots, while the BeachClub 660 Flybridge will be equipped with two Volvo Penta IPS-1050 engines for a top speed of 30 knots. The first unit will be delivered to her owners in summer 2019, while the second will be available in spring 2020. Discover Opulent Club on Apple News.
