Bentley continues its centenary celebrations by unveiling two special edition versions of the Bentayga, the result of a collaboration between its Mulliner bespoke division and Savile Row tailor Huntsman.
The collaboratively designed SUV celebrates both companies’ 100th anniversary and features a redesigned interior and unique paint finish. The ‘Sportsman’ and the ‘Businessman’ Bentaygas feature Huntsman fabrics with Bentley’s signature color and trim.
The Bentayga Sportsman wears a Candy Red shade on the outside. Inside, the Bentayga Huntsman features retrimmed door panels and seat backs, finished in the Huntsman’s “Peck 62” tweed, created to celebrate the tailor’s centenary year inspired by an original Gregory Peck coat from the Huntsman archive.
In contrast to the Sportsman, the Bentayga Businessman is described as having a “more urban spirit”, with a two-tone black and grey exterior, black Anthracite interior, carbonfibre fascias and waistrails and tweed on door cards. The car also boasts the bespoke Mulliner chessboard in the rear seat rest, complete with a drawer trimmed in Huntsman fabric which houses the chess pieces. The chessboard mimics the retailer’s chequerboard floor.
The limited-edition Bentayga is only available through Bentley showroom Jack Barclay, based in Mayfair, London – close to Huntsman. Those who buy a Huntsman edition of the Bentayga will receive a Huntsman bespoke jacket, with a lining made exclusively for Bentley. They will also get to select between different cloths and tweeds for the garment.
