Vacheron Constantin is launching an entirely new collection a women’s line of automatic watches called Égérie “muse” in French in a first for the high-end Swiss watch label in recent times as it targets luxury consumers seeking prestige with a feminine flavor, and it did so with a female-led design team.
The Égérie watch styles, which will hit the market next month, come in pink or white gold, or steel, with diamonds. The bezel is set on both models with 58 brilliant-cut diamonds. These precious stones in the same cut-shape also adorn the ring on the dial that highlights the date. The brand offers the Égérie with an automatic movement and a date complication. Its case, which measures 35mm in diameter, the dial features a textured, pleated effect, making use of the house’s historic “tapestry” technique. For watch fans hankering after complications, there is also a moon phase model.
It is powered by caliber 1088, a movement that Vacheron Constantin makes in its manufacture endowed with 40 hours of power reserve, the movement boasts 164 meticulously finished components. The caliber, and its 22-karat gold oscillating weight inspired by the Maltese cross, which can be admired through the sapphire crystal caseback. The rose gold version will be delivered with three alligator leather straps, while for the stainless steel version, there is also a bracelet available.
The retail prices of the Egerie collection range from $21,100 to $52,000. The new Égérie collection is available in all Vacheron Constantin boutiques and authorized points of sale as of March 1st, 2020. Discover Opulent Club on Apple News.
