With the new Petite Heure Minute “Tiger”, Jaquet Droz unites the essence of its watchmaking and artistic expertise in one timepiece.
Jaquet Droz captivated the spirit of the tiger by releasing two limited series of 28 timepieces. The Petite Heure Minute model has also been chosen to free up maximum space on the dial to display the full intensity of the Tiger’s glaze in the miniature painting.
Using fine brushes, some as thin as a strand of hair, a white Tiger with ice blue eyes has been painted on a black dial framed by a white gold case. On the ivory dial, the Tiger flaunts its famous black and orange fur with green eyes, the most famous characteristics of its species. For both watches, the case diameter is 43 mm, thickness is 12.06 mm. The Jaquet Droz Petite Heure Minute “Tiger” is powered by the 4 Hz self-winding Calibre 2653.P. The movement have a very long 68-hour power reserve, which you can admire through the open case back. The movement has enlarged bridges decorated with a sunray motif, and it is powered by an 18K red gold oscillating weight, which is partially open to uncover more of the movement. Each piece is individually numbered.
With this new exceptional work of art, Jaquet Droz keeps exploring the naturalist theme that has been used to decorate its clocks, pocket watches and wristwatches for almost three centuries. jaquet-droz.com. Discover Opulent Club on Apple News.
