Patek Philippe has unveiled its first new watch of 2020, a limited edition Calatrava to commemorate the completion of its production building in Geneva.
The case of the Calatrava Ref. 6007A-001 is comprised of polished steel, a material seldom found in Patek Philippe’s collections and for that reason is still considered a rarity in the traditional watchmaker’s collection.
The bold blue dial with railway track scale and triangular markers, features a great graphic center that features a finely grained carbon-style texture, a white-printed five-minute scale and a railway-track hour circle at its perimeter.
The commemorative watch is powered by the self-winding caliber 324 S C movement that is visible via a transparent sapphire case back. Each watch back is marked with a Calatrava cross and the words “New Manufacture 2019”. The watch retails for $28,351. Only 1,000 pieces will be produced. Discover Opulent Club on Apple News.
