Piaget’s latest effort in skeleton watch making produced the new Polo Skeleton, it reimagined what a Piaget classic, namely the classic Polo of 1979, could look like in a contemporary form fit for the 21st century.
The Piaget Polo Skeleton is an instantly striking and visually stunning timepiece that builds off the famed Piaget Polo. Combines the brand’s sporty yet elegant Polo case with one of the thinnest automatic movements available on the market (at 2.4mm), the openworked Piaget 1200S1 calibre, wound by a micro-rotor. You can also select from either a Piaget Blue PVD finish (referring to the color of the movement in the skeletonized design) or a sleek slate grey option.
Running at 3Hz, this 1200S calibre, it offers a power reserve of 44 hours of energy when fully wound. The skeletonized hands show the hours and minutes and time is indicated with applied faceted markers attached to the inner flange. The off-centre micro rotor in platinum is engraved with Piaget coat of arms.
