Lamborghini has finally unveiled its latest Huracan iteration, dubbed the Tecnica: the next-generation rear-wheel drive V10. Taking its engine from the Huracán STO, with an increase of 30 CV over the Huracán EVO rear-wheel drive (RWD), the powertrain delivers 565 Nm of torque at a maximum 6,500 rpm. The result is a 0-62 MPH time of just 3.2 seconds, impressive given its RWD credentials while 124 MPH is hit in just 9.1 seconds, before the car stretches its leg all the way to a 202 MPH top speed.
Visual changes are significant. The new front bumper is inspired by Y-shaped forms of the Terzo Millennio EV concept from 2017, incorporating an air curtain for the first time in a Huracan. There’s also a new front splitter, an Essenza SCV12-inspired silhouette, open slats directing air through the wheels, helps to improve downforce and cooling.
The rear includes a new vertical rear glass window; a new bumper with optimized air inlet; a diffuser painted in body color or optional black; new hexagonal exhaust pipes and a fixed rear wing allowing for 30% more downforce than the EVO RWD model.
The interior is fashion-focused and fresh. A redesigned, sophisticated HMI interface is exclusive to the Tecnica. Overall Tecnica receives the same basic suite of technology found across the Huracán range, including a digital instrument cluster and a touchscreen-based infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa compatibility. There are height-adjustable sports seats, lightweight doors and harness seat belts, upholstered in Alcantara come standard, though several other upholstery options are available.
Buyers can choose between eight standard colors, as well as more than 200 additional paint options options are available through the Ad Personam program. Tecnica buyers can also choose from a distinct interior trim made just for this model, as well as unique types and colors of stitching for the inside.
The new model is available for order now; Pricing information and availability haven’t been announced yet. Discover Opulent Club on Apple news.
