Hong Kong-based design studio Central Yacht has shared the rendering of its 30 meter superyacht concept named Orchid 100. The yacht was created with the need of Asian market in mind. The concept boasts a list of amenities usually seen on much larger vessels, including an elevator and spiral staircase from the guest cabins to the sun deck, ensuring complete accessibility for all members of the family.
“In our region many owners would like to upgrade to a yacht with more luxury, more space, easier access for older relatives and more safety for their family, but they are constrained by the size of the marina berths available,” says Paul Brackley, Central Yacht’s founder.
The concept comes in three different versions, with owners able to choose a full width master cabin on the main deck or three and four cabin versions with a large media room on the main deck. The yacht will feature an elevator and spiral staircase from the guest cabins to the sun deck, ensuring complete accessibility for all members of the family. According to Brackley, ‘we have adopted many of the features of a 60 meter yacht into a 30 meter package’.
Orchid 100’s foredeck boasts sun pads and circular in-built seating with panoramic views. The concept has an estimated top speed of 20 knots and a range of 1,500 nautical miles. Discover Opulent Club on Apple news.
