Louis Vuitton presents a new iteration of the brand’s fine jewelry collection, Empreinte. The original collection was designed in 2004, distinctive for its designs deriving from the French house’s emblematic codes. Spearheaded by Francesca Amfitheatrof, Artistic Director of Watches and Jewelry for Louis Vuitton, the House enters a new chapter as she turns her honed sense of sparkle into unprecedently bold creations.
For the collection, 18k yellow, white, and rose gold pieces features the iconic and powerful LV initials which were originally designed by Georges Vuitton in 1896. Interlaced rings and bracelets are an allegory for the relationship between loved ones, and resemble the leather straps that fasten the Maison’s legendary luggage. While the hoop earring and diamond-studded ear cuff develop a geometrical strength.
Empreinte creates an impression that is a timeless and memorable addition to the footprint that Louis Vuitton has left on luxury designer wear. The collection will be released on August 19th. Discover Opulent Club on Apple news.
