H. Moser & Cie. just dropped a stunning new watch, honoring traditional Chinese Culture: the Endeavour Chinese Calendar Limited Edition. Crafted in collaboration with Agenhor SA, the limited-edition timepiece is touted by its makers as a testament to precision engineering, and produced in a limited run of just 100 pieces.
Spotlighted on its midnight blue fumé and sunburst dial are the Chinese lunisolar calendar and solar-only Gregorian calendar. The indices are applied, and the gold hour, minute and small seconds hands are leaf-shaped. The timepiece seamlessly combines the intricate Chinese lunisolar calendar with the Gregorian calendar, while also showcasing the 12 Chinese zodiac signs and moon phases — all without requiring any adjustments for impressive 12-year span.
The striking dial is housed inside a 40mm watch case made of 5N red gold. Inside the HMC 210 calibre beats at a frequency of 21,600vph, has a solid 18k gold oscillating weight, an original Straumann hairspring (in-house) and a power reserve of 3 days or 72 hours. The movement is geared with a solid 18K gold oscillating weight, complete with an Original Straumann® hairspring, and is finished with Moser’s iconic stripes. Accompanying this stunning timepiece is a brown alligator strap with hand-stitched details and a matching 5N red gold folding clasp.
The H. Moser & Cie. Endeavour Chinese Calendar is a limited edition of 100 pieces and comes with a brown hand-stitched alligator leather strap with a red gold folding clasp. The price is CHF 68,000 or EUR 78,200.
