Winch Design has completed an extensive Bombardier Global 6000 refurbishment project, transforming a ten-year-old business jet into a unique contemporary masterpiece inside and out. Debuting its new look at the recent EBACE 2024, the Global 6000 now dons a striking new exterior livery, designed by Winch Design and painted by General Atomics in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany.
Light, neutral-coloured leathers, straight-grain walnut timber and gold almond metal accents form the base of the interior palette. The aft lounge bulkhead features bespoke marquetry of colour-tinted burr while the mid and forward bulkheads are treated as vertical 3D slatted screens of light wood and mirror, for privacy and transparency, with the seats sent to F-List in Austria, where they were reupholstered in a lighter color along with the panels and headliner for a much brighter, airy feel.
The hand-tufted wool carpet design is inspired by natural textures and vibrant ocean colours and features a wave-like pattern, with the colours reflected in the stitching on the leather inlays of the tables. The wave-like pattern continues across the upper side walls and ceilings, adding depth and character to the space. The result is a much more spacious-feeling cabin, perfect for spending hours aboard with the Global 6000’s 7,000 miles of range.
Following its display at EBACE 2024, the aircraft has a roaming base whilst on charter and, when not on charter, it is hangared at AllianceJetʼs Dublin Airport MRO/FBO facility.
