Patek Philippe shocked the watch world with the final version of its Nautilus ref. 5711 that’s not just stamped with the Tiffany & Co dial which already carries a high premium but is also decked out in Tiffany’s famous light pastel blue hue.
Nautilus ref. 5711 it will be limited to just 170 pieces, a nod to the 170th anniversary of the partnership between the two luxury brands. The dial’s vibrant pastel blue hue is specifically known as Tiffany Blue, and hands and indices in contrasting black make it even more striking. This is, however, much more than a couple of brands that decided to team up for yet another limited edition collab: the Tiffany & Co. wordmark on the dial here speaks to collectors who value the rare “co-signed” watch dials of past decades and Tiffany dials are among the most famous.
The latest version is not only signed by both Patek Philippe and Tiffany & Co., but is also marked with “170th Anniversary 1851-2021 Tiffany & Co. – Patek Philippe” on the sapphire-crystal caseback. It houses the self-winding caliber 26-330 SC and is mounted on an integrated steel bracelet with satin-finished and polished links that are hand-applied in a process that takes 55 steps.
One of the 170 Patek Philippe Tiffany & Co Nautilus 5711s will be auctioned by Phillips on December 11th, in New York, with the proceeds going to the Nature Conservancy, a charity chosen by Bernard Arnault, the CEO of LVMH.
This is an undeniably spectacular watch, not simply for its pedigree but for its symbiotic pairing of two icons: Patek’s stainless-steel Nautilus and Tiffany Blue. The Patek Philippe Nautilus Ref. 5711/1A-018 retails for $52, 635 and is available at Tiffany & Co. in New York, San Francisco, and Beverly Hills. Discover Opulent Club on Apple News.
