The new Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Desroches Island has opened. Stretches over the southwestern portion of a 402 hectare (933 acre), sparsely populated and virtually untouched tropical sanctuary just 35 minutes by scenic flight from the international airport on Mahé island. The only resort on the entire island, it is the quintessential tropical escape, while also providing every modern comfort and luxury, and plenty to discover for today’s active travellers.
The resort features 71 lodgings, offering a choice of beach bungalows, villas, suites and multi-bedroom Residences, all with private pool and direct beach access. One and two bedroom suites, a selection of villas with private plunge pools are positioned along the Sunset Beach or the Coral Beach. There are also three, four and five bedroom villas as well as the well appointed seven bedroom Presidential Villa.
The new resort is aiming to provide a luxurious holiday experience combined with the space and freedom to discover and learn about the islands’ natural surroundings — both on land and at sea.
