The Ferrari 488 Pista a near-perfect supercar gets the tuning treatment from Novitec. Via ECU tuning and high-performance exhaust systems made from stainless steel or F1-sourced Inconel, Novitec is able to boost the power plant to 802 PS (791 hp) at 7,950 rpm and 898 Nm (662 lb-ft) of torque at 3,100 rpm. The gains of 82 PS (81 hp) and 128 Nm (94 lb-ft), respectively, dropping the 0-62mph time from 2.85 to 2.70secs while lifting the top speed from 211 to 214mph.
There’s a bit more exposed carbon on the outside, darkened rear lights and some stockier wheels, subtle body kit. Created not just to lend the Italian supercar a greater visual impact, all of the new items have been developed in the wind tunnel for maximum aerodynamic efficiency.
There’s a spoiler blade up front extending the bumper and reducing aerodynamic lift while the 488 Pista is driven at high speeds. At the back, Novitec has installed a spoiler lip and carbon fiber surrounds for the round taillights. The custom Novitec NF10 wheels developed in collaboration with U.S. specialist Vossen. Rounding off the visual changes is the black tint applied to the side turn signals and the third brake light.
