Italian shipyard CCN has introduced its latest superyacht project, the 37 metre DOM123 designed by Stefano Vafiadis. The project was presented during the Versilia Yachting Rendezvous held in Viareggio from May 10-13.
DOM123 which comes from Latin word “Domus”, meaning “home”. With aluminium semi-displacement hull, a top speed of 21 knots and cruising speed of 18 knots, which will deliver a range of up to 3,000km powered with twin 2,500hp MTU engines.
With a beam of 8.7 metres, the DOM123 will provide bountiful living spaces, including a main deck saloon and dining room for 10. Dom123 has a more formal main saloon, with a dining area, and a more casual skylounge. A nice surprise in the skylounge, though, is a cinema screen and a large, sliding glass door will connect this area with fresh air, panoramic views and seating for 10-12 guests at a round table.
Additionally, CCN and Studio Vafiadis place the captain’s cabin adjacent to the wheelhouse. The crew cabins are all below decks, with a mess and laundry area close by. Exterior living spaces are designed to suit the home-style brief, creating living areas ideal for both entertaining and relaxing. The large sundeck, accessed by a central staircase, will have a modern, square-shaped spa tub. Additional toys like a PWC can sit on the foredeck, with a dedicated launching crane.
