Lateral Naval Architects has exclusively unveiled its latest 102-metre superyacht concept on the first day of the Monaco Yacht Show 2018. Developed in collaboration with Sinot and Oceanco, Project “Balance” showcases technical innovation for real-world benefits: more space, increased efficiency and exceptional performance.
Designed on Oceanco’s LIFE platform, the yacht will have lower GT and hence less power, which will allow to reduce technical areas onboard and expand room for relaxation and socialising. The single tire room located in the LIFE platform will ensure spacious accommodation, entertainment space and flexible layout.
On board, Project “Balance” accommodates 14 guests in 7 cabins. The dedicated owner’s deck boasts private living areas with luxurious facilities. Two VIP suites are placed on the main deck, while four double suites are on the lower deck. Project Balance interior styling includes teak detailing in the ceilings, the stern and on the side grill to create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
A hybrid propulsion system with twin 16V 2000M72 engines will power the yacht and provide multi operations modes. She will be able to reach a top speed of 18.5 knots and will cruise at 16 knots with a range of 5,300 nm.
