To commemorate the centennial of the iconic N°5 fragrance, Patrice Leguéreau, director of the Chanel Fine Jewellery Creation Studio, is offering the Collection N°5, the first high jewellery collection ever to be dedicated to a perfume. A show-stopping high jewellery diamond necklace inspired by the distinctive architecture of the perfume bottle.
The collection will have a total of 123 pieces around the necklace, showcasing all the facets of a fragrance, interpreting the N°5 perfume, from the bottle to the sillage. The main highlight of the Collection N°5 is the extraordinary 55.55 necklace. The design is an octagonal diamond weighing 55.55 carats that gives the necklace its official moniker: the 55.55 necklace.
To pay tribute to this iconic bottle, everything is there: the bottle cap, the silhouette, the clasp, all in diamonds: The dazzling D Flawless stone is framed by an 18-carat white gold bezel set with 104 round diamonds and an additional 42 baguette diamonds.
Frederic Grangie, president of Chanel Watches and Fine Jewellery, explains that creating this one-of-a-kind design keeps Coco Chanel‘s legacy of breaking the rules and taking risks alive.
The 55.55 necklace will be archived in Chanel’s Patrimoine, where it will be immortalised as part of Coco Chanel’s legacy.
