Bvlgari and Japanese architect Tadao Ando have come together once again to unveil The Octo Finissimo Tadao Ando Limited Edition Ref. 103534. The limited edition Bvlgari Octo Finissimo Tadao Ando is one of the most unique and striking offerings in the brand’s core integrated bracelet line.
The new limited edition by the famed architect features a 40mm case that already has a minimalist vibe running through it and strips it down even further his earlier watches feature no numerals and rings of concentric circles emanating from the small seconds pinion, and not much else.
The deep blue lacquered dial uses no typography and features a distinctive spiral motif that uncoils from the base of the seconds hand. Between the 5 and 6 o clock positions, to evoke the look of the night sky, is a crescent moon or Mikazuki (三日月) on its way to becoming a full moon.
The watch’s movement is Bvlgari‘s own BVL 138, which features a micro-rotor automatic and a power reserve of 60 hours. The movement is visible through a sapphire case back that is printed with Ando’s signature. A matte black ceramic integrated bracelet completes the package.
The watch is now available at Bvlgari boutiques worldwide and is limited to 160 pieces. Discover Opulent Club on Apple News.
