Blancpain presented the Ladybird Valentine’s Day 2022, a timepiece designed to express the sweetness and the intensity of love, in a limited edition of 99 timepieces.
Set in signature V-Day colours of white and red. Crafted from white gold, the 34.9 mm x 9.2 mm case is enriched by 58 diamonds set on the bezel and lugs. With elegance as its leitmotif, the hour markers have been crafted as large, varnished Arabic numerals, in the colour red, and the seconds hand, much like Cupid, pierces a small heart. The sparkling bezel frames a white mother-of-pearl dial that makes the varnished red numerals beautifully stand out. The strap is a textured red alligator leather, featuring a diamond-set pin buckle.
The Ladybird Colors is fitted with Blancpain’s ultra-thin automatic movement (calibre 1153) with an impressive 100-hour power reserve. The sapphire crystal caseback reveals the openworked white gold rotor and refined finishings like the Côtes de Genève decoration on the bridges and perlage on the base plate.
