Cartier unveiled its latest high jewellery chapter in Florence this week, Le Voyage Recommencé, featuring over 80 creations inspired by its vast archive, from the emblematic panther to graphic Art Deco shapes. In this new collection, Cartier approaches various stylistic domains with the utmost freedom, reinventing architectural designs, exploring abstract forms, and pushing the boundaries of color harmonies to celebrate life and the world’s horizons.
To unveil the new collection, Cartier threw an elaborate soirée in Florence in the gorgeous garden of the Palazzo Corsini. The palace is known for its artistic heritage and is home to works by Rubens, Fra Angelico, and Caravaggio. The event was attended by Pom Klementieff, Vanessa Kirby, and Elle Fanning, amongst other distinguished celebrities and friends of the Maison. The evening featured a dinner attended by Cyrille Vigneron, Cartier’s President and CEO, followed by a captivating performance by singer-songwriter and Cartier ambassador, Labrinth.
Additionally, an exclusive exhibition of Cartier High Jewellery pieces was held at the Villa Reale di Marlia in Tuscany. Staged by Patricia Urquiola, an architect and decorator who has been a loyal friend of the Maison, the showcase highlighted over 350 pieces through 80 carefully crafted displays, combining elegance with organic elements centred around Cartier’s areas of inspiration.
