Bell & Ross and designer Sacha Lakic collaborate on the BR 03-94 BLACKTRACK chronograph and its counterpart, the Blacktrack BT-06 motorcycle. Central to this project is the concept of the Blacktrack BT-06 motorcycle which has a fairing that draws inspiration from the facets seen on stealth planes.
Designer Sacha Lakic, a virtuoso in various creative domains, brings his flair for speed and movement to the collaboration. From electric vehicles to iconic furniture pieces, Lakic’s diverse portfolio culminates in the creation of Blacktrack—a brand synonymous with the rare fusion of performance and distinctive design.
The new BR 03-94 BLACKTRACK is a chronograph that features a case made of matte black ceramic with a water-resistance rating of 100 metres. The Blacktrack BT-06 motorcycle echoes these design elements, with faceted angles reminiscent of stealth aircraft, creating a cohesive aesthetic between the watch and the machine.
The motorcycle’s faceted angles brings the precision of cockpit instruments to the wrist, with chronograph counters adopting the design of motorcycle handlebar dials. The subtle detailing, such as the superposition of the off-center chronograph second hand over the minute hand, forms the distinctive Blacktrack “B.”
The watch also features red accents that adds a subtle yet bold contrast to the all-black surfaces and the watch is powered by a BR-CAL.301 automatic movement, which has a power reserve of 42 hours.
