Since its debut in 1994, the IMPERIALE collection has embodied Chopard’s dedication to regal elegance and refined watchmaking. Its latest creation, the IMPERIALE Four Seasons, artfully traces the passage of spring, summer, autumn, and winter through a poetic complication that captures nature’s rhythm.

Beneath an ethical 18-carat white gold lotus flower lies a miniature scene in mother-of-pearl marquetry, subtly shifting in color with the seasons icy blue for winter, fresh green for spring, radiant yellow for summer, and warm copper for autumn. This evolving tableau, imagined by Chopard Co-President Caroline Scheufele, is a lyrical blend of craftsmanship, creativity, and technical artistry.

At its core is a rotating disc that completes a full revolution every 365 days, linked to the hour hand and designed to reflect the gradual transition of time. This delicate movement creates a living landscape that transforms in harmony with the seasons.

Powering this visual poetry is the L.U.C 96.31-L movement—a self-winding calibre with the exclusive Four Seasons module. Comprising 227 components and featuring a 65-hour power reserve through Chopard Twin Technology, the movement is entirely developed and assembled in-house, underscoring the brand’s horological excellence.

Completing the experience are four interchangeable alligator leather straps, each colored to evoke a different season, allowing the wearer to align their watch with the world’s natural rhythm.

The IMPERIALE Four Seasons is more than a timepiece it is a tribute to the passage of time as art. Merging watchmaking precision with emotional resonance, it transforms the seasonal calendar into a canvas of beauty, innovation, and enduring elegance, limited to 25 examples offered in the brand’s boutiques.
