At LVMH Watch Week 2026, Bulgari unveils a luminous homage to the “Art of Gold,” uniting the grandeur of its Roman lineage with the rigor of Swiss haute horlogerie. This latest chapter turns inward to reinterpret two of the Maison’s most emblematic creations the historic Monete and the sinuous Tubogas through exceptional gold craftsmanship and ultra-miniature in-house calibers. The result is a collection that feels unmistakably contemporary while remaining rooted in the architectural poetry of Antiquity.

First conceived in the mid-1960s, the Monete has long embodied Bulgari’s enduring dialogue with the ancient world. The new Maglia Milanese Monete Secret Watch renews this legacy with an authentic Roman coin from 198–297 AD, portraying Emperor Caracalla and concealing a dial of iridescent mother-of-pearl set with twelve diamond hour markers.

Offered in two refined dimensions and framed by brilliant-cut diamonds, the case shelters the Piccolissimo BVP100 recognized as the smallest round manual winding mechanical movement ever produced. Just 13.5 mm in diameter and weighing only 1.9 grams, this remarkable mechanism is revealed for the first time through a transparent caseback, beating at 21,600 vibrations per hour and delivering a 30-hour power reserve.

Bridging millennia with quiet assurance, the timepiece becomes a study in contrast and harmony ancient iconography meeting the supple texture of contemporary Milanese mesh an elegant testament to patience, intuition, and the enduring language of gold.
