The world’s leading luxury travel retailer, and Italy’s luxury jewelry house Bulgari, announced a new edition of Lucea Tubogas. Two new models Lucea Tubogas and Luceq Skeleton – have been added to Bulgari’s Lucea collection for ladies, first introduced in 2014.
For the first time, Lucea is presented with the Tubogas bracelet, highlighting Bulgari’s heritage as a jeweler. The Tubogas technique has been used in jewelry making since the late 1940s. The design was revived in the 1970s when Bulgari introduced it into watches, bracelets, necklaces and rings.
“The new Lucea Tubogas collection signifies what Bulgari is and has always been about – homage to legacy, and the grace of uniquely designed watches from the brand heritage since the 1940s. Bulgari is pleased to present this new additional Lucea Tubogas with DFS” said Kolia Neveux, Regional Managing Director, Bulgari Greater China.
Available in 28 mm or 33 mm models, the stylish stainless steel version has a dramatic black lacquer dial. A white mother-of-pearl dial is associated to an alternating steel and rose gold Tubogas bracelet, also presented in 28 mm and 33 mm sizes. Bulgari’s new Lucea Tubogas range will be available exclusively for purchase at DFS and T Galleria by DFS stores worldwide until January 2019.
A practical quartz movement powers the 28mm model while the 33mm version features a mechanical automatic-winding calibre. A precious 33 mm in rose gold is enhanced by diamonds around the bezel and on the bracelet. Diamond hour markers and a pink cabochon-cut gemstone set into the crown add the finishing touches to an understated yet luxurious design.
