Ahead of this year’s Geneva International Motor Show, Aston Martin’s Q bespoke vehicle division has unveiled a stunning DBX, making the sexy SUV all the more appealing.
Sitting on 22-inch gloss black wheels, its exterior is dressed entirely in Satin Xenon Grey paintwork, as well as carbon fiber pieces around the lower exterior, black anodized tread plates and plaques on the sill.
The cabin boasts a glistening carbon fiber finish on the floating center console and door trims. The central piece is machined from a solid block consisting of 280 individual layers of carbon fiber, laid meticulously by hand. After a 12-hour curing process, 90-hours of five-axis milling are needed to deliver the remarkable finish. The cargo floor is covered by a massive single piece of carbon fiber in place of the standard carpeted floor.
“While our designer specifications previously demonstrated an incredibly broad range of choice and expression from our existing palette of colors and materials, ‘Q by Aston Martin’ offers the tools to those who have an uninhibited desire to push the boundaries of what is achievable,” said Aston Martin executive vice president and chief creative officer Marek Reichman.
Aston Martin will be on display at the 89th Geneva International Motor Show and the DBX styled through Q will be showcased from Wednesday 4 March 2020. Discover Opulent Club on Apple News.
