Celebrating the 60th anniversary of the automaker, Lamborghini partners with Japanese artist Ikeuchi to create the Lamborghini Huracan STO Time Chaser_111100 art car and the Time Gazer sculpture. The designer, Ikeuchi, deployed original parts from Lamborghini’s previous anniversary editions including the Countach 25th Anniversary, the Diablo SE30, Murciélago 40th and Aventador LP 720-4 50th.
Built using original Lamborghini parts, the Time Gazer is a large-scale art piece that encapsulates IKEUCHI’s vision of past, present and future through the lens of Lamborghini’s evolution. The Huracan STO Time Chaser_111100 highlights Ikeuchi’s preference for a cybernetic aesthetic. The odd 111100 name is the binary code for the number 60 in recognition of the automaker’s anniversary.
The Lamborghini Huracán STO Time Chaser_111100 is reminiscent of an advanced mecha featuring cyberpunk decals and a white, silver, and black color scheme with carbon fiber accents. The most definitive element of the supercar is a transparent unit mounted on the engine cover reminiscent of a supercomputer. IKEUCHI’s Time Gazer art piece resembles an ultra-advanced simulator or controller, incorporating a number of state-of-the-art computer pieces combined with premium automotive elements from Lamborghini.
“We are very proud to present this piece of art together with IKEUCHI in this memorable 60th anniversary year,” said Stephan Winkelmann, Automobili Lamborghini Chairman and CEO. “Lamborghini Huracán STO Time Chaser_111100 truly blends tradition and innovation, the past and the future, while perfectly embodying Lamborghini’s values. On this milestone of our 60th year, Lamborghini promises to continue to grow as a bold and unconventional brand, never ceasing to challenge itself.”
