Inspired by the skater scene in the Venice Beach area of sprawling Los Angeles, reflecting three different time periods from dawn to dusk. Louis Vuitton‘s creative director Virgil Abloh has designed a Summer 2021 Men’s Capsule Collection that’s a downright ode to a carefree, colour-infused holiday season.
Conveying a sense of the infinite, a recurrent theme in Abloh’s collections, this wardrobe is embodied and highlighted by the American rapper 21 Savage’s casual energy. Ranging from pastel-colored suits to Hawaiian shorts, the range is eye-catching and fun and captures Abloh’s recurring theme of the infinite. Japanese denim, and monogrammed cotton with a pop of watercolor hues are unveiled in the Venice Beach area. Matching the cool twilight tint, a navy color scheme emerges, featuring indigo pajamas and saxe-blue short suits.
Swimsuits, denim shirts and cotton pajamas are adorned with a watercolor monogram pattern. Accessories further liven up the collection, as keepalls, backpacks, totes and sailor bags also showcase the colorful monogram; as do masks with matching cotton and silk bandanas.
The collection maintains some of Louis Vuitton’s most classic accessories including enameled rings and multicolored link bracelets, to caps, sunglasses, sneakers and mules and tote bags. The bags all feature the same watercolor Monogram design that is also seen on matching cotton and silk bandanas and masks. Discover Opulent Club on Apple News.
