Blackmagic Design has just announced its follow-up to the Pocket Cinema Camera line. A filmmaker favorite gets a long-overdue update in the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K.
At its heart is a full-sized 4/3 sensor with native 4096 x 2160 resolution, offering 13 stops of dynamic range for a film-quality look, a maximum ISO of 25,600 for low-light performance, and compatibility with Micro Four Thirds lenses, and is capable of recording 120fps in a special windowed HD setting.
Other features include 13 stops of dynamic range, a large 5-inch touch screen lets you nail your focus, a USB-C expansion port, native MFT mount, a carbon fiber polycarbonate composite body, four built in microphones, and built-in SD, UHS-II and CFast media slots.
