Italian shipyard Wally Yachts has revealed the latest iteration of its wallywhy series a new entry-level model, the wallywhy100. Capable of operating as a day boat, support vessel, or spacious home at sea, the wallywhy100 crossover yacht offers enough sleeping space for up to six guests.
The wallywhy100 is masterminded by the same team as the wallwhy150 and wallwhy200 and borrows the same design language as its big sisters. Exterior design is by Wally, working in collaboration with the Ferretti Group Engineering team, while Studio A. Vallicelli & C has headed up the interiors. The yacht fulfills the need for a more voluminous cruiser in the sub-70 ft range, combining all of the qualities of a 60-70 foot coupé boat with the benefits of the wallywhy volume.
The Wally team doubled down on a one-level, stern-to-bow approach. This results in a hybrid area on the main deck level which can either be enjoyed closed or fully open to enable relaxed al-fresco dining. The space opens to a 150-square-foot beach area, where folding wings expand the space into a massive sundeck.
As far as performance goes, the day boat is powered by twin D13 Volvo IPS engines boasting a cruising speed of 24 knots and a top speed of more than 27 knots. Discover Opulent Club on Apple news.
