Overmarine’s Mangusta brand has revealed a new 39 metre superyacht model named the Mangusta Oceano 39. A tri-deck yacht open-plan layout and glass walls gives her entire class a new harmonized identity, forging a brand-new concept of open spaces and direct contact with the sea thanks to a minimal superstructure and the most extensive use of glass.
She features primarily glass bulwarks, further frameless in several areas. Even handrails are glass. Floor-to-ceiling panels comprise the walls in a few relaxation areas, too, especially the upper-deck lounge. In the design, the interaction between all three decks is ensured by the yacht’s aft area, which is a “natural extension of the yacht” curated as a beach area in the style of a beachside house. Guests will have direct contact with the sea thanks to an extensive use of glass, minimal superstructure and bulwarks and ceiling-high sliding doors.
Two infinity pools are onboard. One sits fully forward on the sundeck, while the other is on the foredeck. That foredeck pool has a glass bottom as well, bringing sunlight down into the master suite. Interior design is minimal and yet warm and cozy, and the foldable terraces can be lowered to provide access to a 180° beach house/garage tailored to the Owner’s taste and requirements.
Overmarine describes the new yacht as “revolutionary in terms of space, style and lifestyle.” The brief was to create a comfortable vessel, designed for purpose and capable of ocean crossing at all latitudes. “Whether you want to savour your dinner at anchor in Porto Cervo or Saint Tropez or reach the Bahamas or the Hamptons, the Mangusta Oceano 39 will let you do it while relishing the elegance and comfort of a penthouse in Miami,” the brief explains.
Mangusta Oceano 39 remains a long-range megayacht. The model is available with displacement and fast displacement propulsion packages. The displacement provides a top speed of 16 knots while the fast displacement hits a top speed of 21 knots. Discover Opulent Club on Apple News.
