The acclaimed Italian shipbuilder Tankoa Yachts has shared the first images of their newly built Olokun superyacht as she heads to Côte d’Azur for the summer season.
Olokun began life as an on-spec project that was sold and project-managed by Camper & Nicholsons and the owner’s team lead by Casadio Miami, Tankoa Yachts were still able to customize the superyacht to suit the owner’s needs even at the later stage in the project. With exterior and interior design by Francesco Paszkowski. The interior design firm Casa Dio worked with the owner’s personal team to make the yacht’s rooms suitably luxurious and comfortable.
Olokun features sleek, sporty lines and an eye-catching paint scheme with a jet black hull and metallic superstructure. Her distinctive black hull, however, is unique and was created using a high-performance coating that reduces the temperature of the metal in sunlight by up to 10°C.
Two more 50m projects are currently in build at the Tankoa facility in Genoa and the company is continuing with due diligence procedures with a view to acquiring the Cantieri di Pisa brand and shipyard.
